The RangeMaster is a dynamically programmable solution for the baseband signal processor, that allows you to quickly
design and develop a universal RFID tag reader.
Based on the revolutionary analog programmable technology
developed by Anadigm, the RangeMaster solution consists
of a customized RFID dpASP and an RFID State Machine.
Featuring full support of the EPC Global Gen 1/Gen
2 (Class 0, 1, 2) and ISO18000-6 standards, the RangeMaster
solution enables the design of a ‘universal’ reader
that can read multiple tag types.
The RangeMaster solution
interfaces with your host controller using a standard
SPI interface. By setting control bits you can specify:
- The signal processing circuit implemented in the
dpASP – choose between a universal and a EPC
Gen 2 baseband processing circuit
- The background frequency that is filtered out – select
from 4 predefined values
- The gain of the analog circuit – optimize
the range and sensitivity of your reader
- The upper and the lower sub carrier frequency – select
from 16 predefined values
- Digital or analog output
